Here is your early Christmas present everyone. My Air New Zealand flight from Auckland New Zealand to Norfolk Island (its an island north of New Zealand, but its part of Australia.) The flight took around 2 hours. The plane I used is an Air New Zealand 737-300. It has no virtural cockpit, but part from that, its a good little jet with realistic sounds. Enjoy!

View in Full 1080HD! A tribute video to Norfolk Air. The airline that connected Norfolk Island with a 'flag carrier' and some beautiful classic 737's between May 2006 and February 2012. I only caught their 737-200 on a couple of occasions before they changed their equipment to the 737-300 with a slightly different livery. It's a shame they no longer operate as they brought some colour and a bit of noise to the airport! Norfolk Air ceased operations in February 2012 where Air New Zealand took over responsibility of serving Norfolk Island. Norfolk Island off the eastern coastline of Australia. Rich in history of the first fleet settlements of Australia. Flights each week from Auckland NZ, Sydney and Brisbane, Australia. A laid back, sub-tropical climate, no extreme sports, take a good book, relax and take in the view, take some photographs and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Most accommodation outside the town of Burnt Pine, include small car rentals in the price. We stayed at Islander Lodge which had a stunning view, and as a couple of part-time artists we enjoyed watching the moods of the changing weather and seas around Phillip Island to the south. Norfolk is a nice spot to relax and not feel too compelled to 'do' the whole time you are there. This is not an ad, just sharing info : )

This is such a popular plant to buy during Christmas. These plants can be very difficult to grow if you don't have the right conditions for the,.. if the air is too dry this plant will suffer.. if the soil becomes too dry this plant will suffer... if you over water.... well i think you get the point..lol... However I would give it a try. when you finally get the hang of growing this plant it's a beautiful specimen and very rewarding. On Wednesday 18th of November, a Medevac en route from Samoa to Melbourne made 3 landing attempts on Norfolk Island before ditching into the ocean off Headstone on Norfolk Island. Norfolk Islander volunteer firefighter Scott Greenwood spotted the crash location from the clifftop and informed the rescue party who were headed in the other direction due to the last known heading of the aircraft. Darren Bates and other rescuers picked up the six survivors and brought them to safety in the middle of night. This video contains interviews with Scott, Darren and others involved in the rescue.
